Is bamboo bedding actually better than cotton?
Bamboo fibre is naturally more breathable and moisture-wicking than standard cotton, so it pulls heat and sweat away from your skin instead of trapping it. It's also naturally softer straight out of the pack, with no break-in period.
I'm a hot sleeper — will these actually help?
DriftCool™ fabric is engineered to be temperature-regulating, not just 'cooling to the touch.' It moves heat and moisture away from your body throughout the night rather than just feeling cold for the first few minutes.
Do they stay soft after washing, or will they pill?
Bamboo fibre gets softer with every wash, not rougher. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and skip the fabric softener — it can leave a residue that builds up over time and affects the fabric's natural softness.
Will the fitted sheet actually stay on my mattress?
Yes — the fitted sheet is cut with a deep pocket and elasticated all the way around, so it holds firmly on mattresses up to 40cm thick, including pillow-tops.
Are these okay for sensitive skin?
Bamboo fibre is naturally hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites, so it's a common recommendation for sensitive or easily irritated skin. If you have a specific allergy or skin condition, it's worth checking with your dermatologist first.
